About Lance:

Lance Guymer commenced practice in 1988 and obtained his Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation in 1993. Lance joined our firm in 2007, bringing with him his extensive experience and expertise in building and construction law.

First commence working as a legal assistant in the area of Family Law in the city.

Moved to the area of personal injuries/workers compensation after a couple of years.

Started working for Lance approximately 28 years ago in the area of building and construction law/litigation and have worked with Lance since then.

Interests:

About Danielle:

Danielle Mercuri commenced practice in 2011 and has worked exclusively on the Mornington Peninsula. Danielle joined Meier Denison Guymer in 2012, and, after a short sabbatical, re-joined the team in 2015.

Danielle has focused on the areas of family law in children’s and property and defacto property matters and has regularly appeared at the Victims of Crime Assistance Tribunal as an advocate. Danielle has a special interest in access of services via community legal services, and has volunteered at the local Legal services centre for 6 years.

Prior to commencing practice, Danielle worked as a Conveyancing and Settlement clerk in domestic property sales and purchases. Danielle brings with her extensive experience in Conveyancing, having worked both as a Conveyancing clerk and as a Mortgage clerk, having represented some of Australia’s “Big Four” banks.

This experience has been of great assistance as Danielle who has recently commenced tutorage under Lance Guymer in the areas of Commercial and Domestic Building Contracts and Building Dispute Resolution.

When not providing professional legal service to clients, Danielle enjoys fitness activities and is aiming to compete in 10 fun runs in the 2016 year, renovating her home with her husband and enjoying time with rescue animals two dogs and 3 cats.

Jacquie Bennett

About Jacquie:

Started career in a property management company in London’s West End and commenced work as a legal assistant in the area of corporate law at Slaughter and May in the City of London.

Gained experience in several areas including mergers and acquisitions, financing, dispute resolution, real estate, pensions and employment and estate planning.

Jacquie made the move to Australia in 2011 with a young family, joining Guymer Lawyers in 2019.
